Rock Out Loud Band Camp: Become a Rock Star Today!

Look, every single one of us has, at least for a while, has dreamed about becoming a rock star. If you say you never considered it, well, you’re probably not telling the truth. After all, who wouldn’t want to be a super popular rock musician with a strong worldwide fanbase, all while writing their own original music? Today’s subject is Rock Out Loud Band Camp, and we’re excited about it!

However, the task of becoming a rock star has never really been that simple. In fact, it’s almost impossible, right? Well, not anymore. We here at Rock Out Loud have decided to help young, talented, and enthusiastic musicians fulfill their dreams by giving them a direct hands-on band experience. And although you’ll think this is impossible, we will help them form a band, write their first song together, record it in the studio, and finalize it in a physical CD format. How cool is that?

Rock Out Loud Band Camp is a program that gets young musicians through all of the essential steps of becoming a professional musician. While most music schools focus on the “traditional” outdated programs, we offer a hands-on valuable experience that will, eventually, come in handy for their professional or semi-professional music career.

Rock Out Loud Band Camp: The Program

Rock Out Loud Band Camp is designed as a supportive environment for young enthusiastic musicians. We are talking about kids who want to work on their songwriting and band skills. Additionally, the program includes practical studio experience, allowing all enrolled young musicians to participate in the final recording process.

Aimed at kids and teens, all participants will come together in a band setting. They will write a song, arrange it, and record it in just two weeks. Sure, it sounds impossible, but the Rock Out Loud Band Camp program works and is the first camp of this kind that brings multiple young musicians together in an elaborate creative endeavor.

    The Goal

As you already know, there are plenty of music schools out there to choose from. And one of the most difficult tasks is to choose the one that you think works the best for your child. So what makes Rock Out Loud and our programs so special?

Well, it’s primarily our goals that differentiate us from the rest. Instead of teaching a young guitar player nursery rhymes, we give it a different approach by teaching them music that they like. Eventually, our music school’s program aims for giving them practical experience in all aspects; helping young musicians learn practical stuff early on in their musical journey.

This same exact principle can be seen with the Rock Out Loud’s Band Camp program. Sure, bringing young music enthusiasts together and giving them the chance to write and record their music sounds like a middle-school or a high-school party. However, when curated by our team of instructors, it’s both a productive and fun endeavor.

Finally, the whole goal of the program is to give these young musicians a practical band experience. Everything from forming a band to releasing a finished song. What’s more, your child will also get the chance to meet other like-minded musicians and maybe even form an actual band with them after the whole thing is done.

Of course, at the end of the process, every participant will also receive a copy of the song that they wrote and recorded with their respective bands.

Rock Out Loud Band Camp: The Process

So the whole process begins by matching different instrumentalists according to their skill and age. Bands are formed, each with four to seven members. Of course, after the formation, each young musician will also receive individual lessons and guidance. This includes guidance for both their instrument skills and songwriting and arranging skills.

After the band launch, there are two important parts of the process. The first part, which usually lasts about four days, includes the creative process. The band members will come together, under the guidance of our instructors. They will spend time writing, arranging, and rehearsing their first song. Of course, the instructors would give tips and make sure every member brings their own contribution.

Then after the creative process, the band moves over to the recording studio to immortalize their newly-written piece. However, the studio work is far from a simple one and can last up to four days. Every member will get acquainted with the basics of working in a professional studio. They will know things about laying down tracks and witness how it all comes down together.

Although fun and exciting, the studio part can be a bit tiring. Even the most experienced musicians often need to do multiple takes of the same part to make it sound right.

In this second part of the process, every individual participant gets to see how things flow from start to finish. And at the very end, there is the mixing and wrap-up in physical CD format. But, more importantly, they’ll get a valuable experience that will serve them for a lifetime.

    What Can You Expect

For quite some time, we at Rock Out Loud have been focusing on bringing the hands-on approach to any of our programs. While some traditional music schools base their programs on some outdated concepts, we’ve kept things very practical. This ultimately helps young musicians become the best versions of themselves. Instead of just turning young music lovers into performers, our goal is to help them bring their own voice out and become creative powerhouses and functional session musicians as well.

Whether your kids are aiming to become professionals or are just into music for a hobby, the Band Camp will help them achieve these goals. Now, we don’t ever neglect the basics that a young musician should cover in their music education. There’ll be music theory, techniques, repertoire, and other important topics. But giving them the chance to create their own work and go through the entire process will get them motivated to learn and practice more.
